I have been doing Crossfit since 2013 and coaching since 2014

My passion for coaching comes from wanting to empower others. To help them to learn about their body and their capacity to do amazing things both mentally and physically

Outside of the gym I love to golf, read, hang out with friends, and do any outdoor activity.

A fun fact about me is, it took me 30 years to like pickles…

Favorite Crossfit movement is the Power Clean

Tyler Cole

Outside of the gym I enjoy fishing, being outdoors, playing volleyball, hanging with my kiddo.

Fun fact about me: I was an extra in the movie Kindergarten Cop.

My favorite Crossfit movements are Cleans and Double Unders

Becca Horn

Manager & Membership Coordinator

CF Level-1, CPT, LMP

I’ve been doing Crossfit for over 3 years, but I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10.

My passion for coaching comes from helping people realize they’re capable of more than they think-whether it’s strength, confidence, or just showing up for themselves. Watching that growth keeps me inspired.

Outside of the gym I enjoy taking my dog Murphy for walks, hiking, watching Michigan State football/basketball, and cooking

David Halvorson

Coach

CPT

I’ve been doing Crossfit since 2010.

My passion for coaching comes from watching people succeed and learn new things. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone’s face light up when they get their first kipping pull up or nail a PR on their lift because of something I suggested they try. I also like discussing strategy with our athletes to help them work as hard as they can!

Outside of the gym you can usually find me either playing video games or reading.

Kevin Sefcovic

Coach

CFL-1, CF Weightlifting, Navy Fitness Leader

I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2017.

My goal when I coach is to create a safe, fun environment where people of all backgrounds can feel empowered to make fitness and wellness a core part of their lifestyle.

Outside of the gym, I’m a full-time psychotherapist and enjoy doing yoga, cooking, baking, binge watching reality TV, and spending time with my partner and our two cats.

Rachel Dziabuda

Coach

CF-L1, LMSW

I started CrossFit in 2015.

I want to inspire people, that it's truly never too late to start. Fitness is important, at any age. I love to help athletes move better and get stronger. My favorite quote as a coach is, "Your PRs are my PRs!"

The community is why everyone loves CrossFit so much. Whether you are the first one to finish a workout or the last, the strongest or weakest, everyone is so encouraging.

Susan McGowan

Coach

USAW Level 1, USAW Master’s National Champion 2024, 4th Overall USAW Master’s World Championship 2025

I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2023

My passion lies in unlocking potential, guiding athletes and individuals to discover strength and discipline they didn’t know they had. I lead by example, living out the same values of consistency, resilience, and purpose that I ask of others. Through this, I strive to not only elevate performance but also shape character, leaving a lasting impact that extends far beyond the gym.
